The cost of our services varies depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We provide customized quotes for each project based on the specific needs of the client.
The timeline for completing a project varies depending on the size and complexity of the project. We work with our clients to establish realistic timelines and ensure that projects are completed on time.
We work with a variety of clients including individuals, small businesses, large corporations, and government agencies.

Solar power is a clean relatively low cost (compared to fossil fuels and nuclear) technology. When paired with energy storage, it can serve as a large-scale or distributed energy source extending electrical service into the evening and overnight hours. It can also serve as a backup power source during planned or unplanned grid outages. Fred has pioneered solar projects as early as 1983. This photo is on the roof of the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. See published papers by Fred on this site.
For almost two decades Fred has promoted systems that can create hydrogen from organic waste. Highlighted here is a technology called Steam CO2 Reformation that, with no combustion, can convert all organic wastes to a clean hydrogen-rich syngas (see RavenSR). This proven technology has converted municipal waste, medical waste, astronaut waste (in a test for NASA), agricultural waste, human and animal waste, to hydrogen. The technology likes to consume plastics, from cellophane wrap, to plastic bags, to plastic packaging, and hard plastics. The technology can help us deal with all the plastic that pollutes our lands and oceans. (See Globe and Mail Op-Ed by Fred)
Appropriately sized environmentally sound small hydro can be an excellent source of electricity, both on and off grid. Unlike large-scale hydro, small hydro does not typically require large dams or reservoirs. Where available, systems can be installed with minimal environmental disruption. Excellent examples exist in Canada, like the Wawatay small hydro project on the Black River in Northern Ontario, and the Sechelt Creek system in British Columbia. Our Architectural Engineering services provide clients with innovative design solutions that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally sustainable. Our team of experts has the skills and experience to deliver projects on time and within budget.
As Manager of the EnergyWise Showcase Housing Program at PG&E, Fred trained over 50 builders to build super efficient new homes, guided constriction of 72 homes, and in official openings for the public, toured over 300,000 people to the homes. As Manager of Remote Power for the Ontario Ministry of Energy, Fred participated in the design and building of a completely new community, Peawanuk, in Northern Ontario. For this project the local community members were trained by a construction supervisor, and electrical and plumbing professionals. The community worked with an architect to design house alternatives, and then families picked their preferred house plan. The community was built, and 30 years later community members report that the housing is comfortable and is working exactly as it should. Due to the super energy efficient design nd materials, the homes operate for approximately 90 percent less energy than regular housing.
